Three Encouraging Moments in Peggy Lee Beavers’ “Encourage” 

“Encourage” is a spiritually moving, heartfelt three-part book by author, Peggy Lee Beavers. It speaks of her life encounters and experiences, each one teaching us a valuable lesson. As the title implies, the book seeks to encourage us in many aspects. So, here are a few of those encouraging moments…one from each part! 

Book #1. As a family of Evangelists, it was not easy for Peggy to embrace her God-given gift of visions. To be fair, no one would probably be able to handle it almost immediately, too. But as she encounters the devil countless of times and help push people towards miracles, she learns to accept and heed her calling. Book #1 is where she realizes that God’s plan is absolute, and to be called to serve is a blessing no one should turn away from. In book #1, we will be encouraged to embrace who we’re meant to be. 

Book #2. This part simply tells the touching experience of Peggy and her husband, Terry with their loving cat, CT and Cry Baby. CT shows us that pets are uplifting companions to have around. Cry Baby, on the other hand, bridges the friendship between Peggy and Mrs. Gordon, a sweet neighbor whom she would stay friends with even when the lady had already moves out. The situation can be deemed more touching, however it also encourages us to open more doors for people that are likely to create a positive impact in our lives. 

Book #3. This is entitled “Mother’s Love”, and it is a heart-rendering chapter that teaches us many lessons, but most of all, encourages us to love endlessly and unconditionally. It also forges our bond with family, posing a reminder to stick with them through up’s and down’s, especially during times when one needs all members the most. 

True to its purpose, “Encourage” is a book that will set our hearts aflame, so that we may seize our days with pure courage in our hearts and in our spirits.
